Welcome to the Access Canada Program Registration. You are taking an important step in expanding your customer base and improving profitability by ensuring your property provides exceptional service to seniors or persons with disabilities. Before you register, familiarize yourself with the Property Standards Checklist to learn about Access Canada standard requirements for property assessment for all four (4) levels. Access Canada was designed to assist hoteliers in creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for elderly and disabled travellers. While Provincial and Municipal Building Codes were consulted in the development of the Access Canada Property Standards, the Access Canada standards are not intended to replace these Codes. Hoteliers enrolling in the Access Canada program are strongly encouraged to also consult their Provincial and Municipal Building Codes prior to implementing any accessible-feature retrofits/upgrades. Once you have registered and paid for the program, you will be asked to set up a Master Account for your property or properties.You will then setup a Property Account which gives you access to the Members area. In addition, you can register at least five (5) key staff from your property, and receive Key Staff Sub Accounts for each. This will give them access to the online training materials and tests.
